Apple Pork Rissoles
A perfect recipe for the kitchen or BBQ, these homemade Rissoles are made from pork and apple that give an amazing take on the classic rissole recipe. The texture of the pork combines beautfully with the freshness of Apple for a delicious family favourite.
This recipe features pasture raised Pork mince from my favourite butcher box delivery service Butcher Crowd .
Servings: 2 (approx. 4 rissoles each)
Ingredients
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
250g Pork Mince
½ Apple, grated
½ Red Onion, diced
1/3 cup Almond Meal
1 Free-Range Egg, whisked
1 tbsp Parsley, finely chopped
¼ tsp Salt
Pinch Pepper
Method
1. Using your hands combine all rissole ingredients except for oil in a bowl.
2. Divide mixture into eight portions and shape into rissoles.
3. Heat oil in a medium frying pan on a medium heat.
4. Add rissoles and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
5. Meanwhile, combine dressing ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
6. Combine salad ingredients in a separate bowl and toss dressing.
7. Serve rissoles alongside salad.
