Fakeaway Beef Chow Mein

Fakeaway Beef Chow Mein
 

Servings: 2

Ingredients

125g Chow Mein Noodles
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for cooking
1 Brown Onion, diced
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
1 cm Ginger, grated
250g Grass-Fed Beef Mince
1 cup White Cabbage, shredded
1/4 cup Tamari
¼ cup Bone Broth
1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
2 tsp Coconut Sugar
1 Carrot, shredded
1 cup Bean Sprouts

 
Fakeaway Beef Chow Mein
 

Method

1.     Cook noodles as per packet instructions and set aside.

2.     Heat a medium frying pan and drizzle with olive oil.

3.     Add brown onion, garlic and ginger, cooking until softened.

4.     Add beef mince and break up with a spoon.

5.     Once beef has browned, add cabbage and stir through.

6.     Add tamari, bone broth, oyster sauce, sesame oil and coconut sugar. Stir through and allow to simmer for a couple of minutes.

7.     Add carrot and bean sprouts, stirring through and allowing to soften.

8.     Add noodles and mix through until combined.
