Chocolate Strawberry & Oat Crumble

 

A seriously sweet dessert that is super simple to whip up!
I love a good crumble and the strawberries and rich chocolate in this recipe just take you to another place!

Servings: 2-4

Ingredients

Base
3 cups Strawberries, roughly chopped
¼ cup Coconut/Rapadura Sugar

Crumble (or use pre-made from GFOATS)
½ cup Almond Meal
2 tbsp Coconut/Rapadura Sugar
1/3 cup Dark Choc Chips
1/3 cup Shredded Coconut
1/3 cup Rolled Oats
½ tsp Cacao Powder
½ tsp Cinnamon 
¼ cup Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

Strawberry Crumble

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees fan forced.

  2. Add base ingredients to a medium saucepan on a medium heat.

  3. Cook until strawberries have softened, approximately 5 minutes.

  4. Meanwhile combine all crumble ingredients in a bowl.

  5. Pour cooked strawberry mixture into a baking dish or ramekins.

  6. Top with crumble and bake until crumble begins to turn golden, approximately 10-15 minutes.
