Banana Bread Ice Cream Sandwich
Talk about nailing dessert!
Warm buttered banana bread with a cool ice cream centre,
drizzled with caramel sauce.
Biting into this banana bread ice cream sandwich is an icy melt in mouth moment.
Servings: As many as you like! Feel free to batch these and keep them handy in the freezer!
Ingredients
Banana Bread, cut into thick slices (try this recipe)
Ice Cream of choice (I used additive free vanilla bean or try nice cream!)
Homemade Caramel, optional drizzle
Grass-Fed Butter
Method
1. Add two scoops of ice cream to a slice of banana bread. Using a knife spread scoops to cover the bread, top with another slice of banana bread.
2. Place sandwiches in a container lined with baking paper and return to the freezer. Refrigerate for at least a couple of hours.
3. Slice in half and heat a frying pan until hot. Add butter and pop in the ice cream sandwich, flip once golden.
Enjoy straight away and drizzle with caramel.
