Cherry Nice Cream

 

I think this might be my new favourite summer dessert!
This recipe highlights the beauty of seasonal produce, just look at the gorgeous colour from the cherries.

Growing up I always used to think I disliked cherries after tasting fake cherry flavour in desserts and lollies, oh my goodness I was wrong. After tasting REAL natural cherries my mind was instantly changed.

Cherry Nice Cream

Servings: 2

Ingredients

1 cup Cherries, pitted 
3 Frozen Bananas
2 tbsp Unsweetened Plant Based Milk (I used soy milk)
¼ cup Cashews

Cherry Ice Cream

Method

1.     Blend all ingredients into a smooth consistency.

2.     Scoop into bowl and serve immediately or freeze for later on. 

(Hint: If you freeze it, you will most likely need to leave it to defrost for at least 10 minutes).
