Mushroom Beef Pasta
This pasta recipe is an amazing hearty, healthy meal that combines a rich mushroom
sauce with tender beef. Poured over pasta, this recipe makes a match made in heaven,
with just the right amount of spices this will have you going back for more!

Ingredients
250g San Remo Red Lentil Pasta
200g Grass-Fed Beef, sliced into wafer thin strips
1 tbsp Tamari
2 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Garlic Clove
½ Onion, chopped
6 Button Mushrooms, sliced
½ cup Milk (I used Almond Milk)
1 tbsp Tomato Paste
½ cup Beef Bone Broth or Vegetable Stock
1 tbsp Tapioca
Salt & Pepper, to taste
Parmesan or Nutritional Yeast, sprinkled
Method
1. Place beef & tamari in a small bowl, let stand for 5 minutes.
2. Cook pasta as per instructions.
3. Heat oil in pan, add garlic & onion. Stir until softened, approximately 2 minutes.
4. Add in beef & mushroom. Stir until beef is lightly browned.
5. Add milk, tomato paste & broth to pan. Bring to boil.
6. Sprinkle in tapioca flour and stir to combine. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered until sauce thickens, approximately 5 minutes.
7. Stir through cooked pasta and enjoy with a sprinkle of parmesan of nutritional yeast.
